  ♦ We believe adult day services are an integral part of the continuum of health care and a viable alternative to institutional programs.

  ♦ We believe in working cooperatively with agencies, community members and hospital departments to provide effective Adult Day Care Services.


Our Goal    
The goal of the Riverview Adult Day Center, Inc. is to enable disabled and/or impaired adults to remain in their homes and their community, to maintain maximum self-sufficiency and independence and thereby avoid premature or unnecessary institutionalization.


Our Objective     
  ♦ To provide a safe, supportive environment during the daytime hours.

  ♦ To provide education to increase or maintain self-care skills of the participant and/or family members.

  ♦ To provide supervised, appropriate physical activity.

  ♦ To provide interpersonal activity to stimulate mental awareness and maintain social interaction skills.

  ♦ To provide nursing health monitoring.

  ♦ To provide education to participants and their families on services available to the elderly which may prevent their abuse or errors in judgment handling personal business and health.

  ♦ To provide nutritious meals and snacks, which meet each person's dietary, needs.

  ♦ To provide support and relief to families and caregivers.
