The success of our program depends on the generosity of others.
In the last quarter of 2009, we sent out a fundraising letter and the response was wonderful. Our annual Koeze Nut drive was also successful.
The Elkhart County Community Foundation (First Congregational Church Charitable Fund), through the giving of our neighbors, has provided RADC with much of the needed income. Recently we received a Grant that will allow us to offer scholarships to at-risk clients so they may attend the program an additional day a week. We would also like to thank the Indiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Inc. for their generous donation.
In Dec., three of our clients that have no family, received several gifts a piece from the Be A Santa To A Senior program through Home Instead Senior Care. We would also recieved wonderful donations from Tri Kappa, Madolen Wells Foundation, and Memorials in honor of Rev. Doyle "Jack" Pavy.
