RADHC March 2026 Activities

Spring is just around the corner, and March is blooming with energy, creativity, and connection at Riverview Adult Day Health Center! This month’s calendar is packed with themed celebration days, engaging games, meaningful activities, and plenty of opportunities for fun and friendship.

At Riverview, every day is designed to support physical wellness, mental stimulation, and social connection — and March is no exception!


🎉 Themed Days & Special Celebrations

We’re kicking off the month with Peanut Butter Day on March 2nd — complete with games and activities that are sure to “stick” with you! Throughout the month, we’ll continue celebrating with:

  • Old Stuff Day (March 3) – Sharing memories and playing “Then and Now” card match.

  • National Anthem Day (March 4) – Patriotic spirit, music, and family fun.

  • Judy’s Birthday (March 11) – A special celebration filled with games and smiles.

  • Good Deed Day (March 12) – Spreading kindness with activities that focus on gratitude.

  • National Tool Day (March 13) – Exploring the history of tools and hands-on dexterity fun.

  • St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) – A festive party with crafts, music, and a little leprechaun mischief!

  • Service Member Day (March 19) – Honoring those who serve with thank-you cards and meaningful activities.

  • Puppy Day (March 24) – Featuring Kristin’s pup visits and dog-themed games.

  • Crayon Day (March 27) – Getting creative with colorful crafts.

  • Potato Chip Day (March 30) – A tasty chip taste test you won’t want to miss!

Each themed day brings new opportunities for laughter, creativity, and shared experiences.


💪 Staying Active & Energized

Movement is a vital part of our program, and we offer Chair Exercise daily to keep everyone feeling strong and flexible. Participants will also enjoy:

  • Walking Group

  • Bocce Ball

  • Kickball

  • Bean Bag Toss

  • Ring Toss

  • Ladder Ball

  • Basketball & Shoot Hoops

  • Drumming Cardio

  • Game Room Sports

These activities promote balance, coordination, and cardiovascular health — all while having fun together.


🧠 Games & Brain Boosters

Keeping minds sharp is just as important as staying physically active. This month’s brain-stimulating activities include:

  • BINGO (a favorite!)

  • White Board Word Scramble

  • Octagon Dice Game

  • 10’s Dice Game

  • UNO & Dominoes

  • Hi-Low Card Game

  • Family Feud

  • Riddles & Jokes

  • Flower Pot Craft – Plant a Flower

  • Four Leaf Clover Craft

  • Self-Portrait Painting

  • Jersey Shirt Craft

  • White Crayon on Black Paper Art

  • Draw a Picture Day

Creative activities support fine motor skills and provide meaningful outlets for self-expression.

We’re excited to welcome:

  • Broadway Bob

  • Piano Pam

  • Library Visit

  • Elkhart Museum Visits

Plus, karaoke sessions, hymns, and a TGIF Movie to round out the month with entertainment and joy.
