Get ready for an incredible month packed with exciting themes, delicious treats, and engaging activities! November 2025 at the Riverview Adult Day Health Center promises to be a time of celebration, learning, and, most importantly, fun! We've lined up a full calendar to keep everyone active, social, and entertained right up to our special Thanksgiving break.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the highlights you won't want to miss!

 

🍽️ Themed Days: Food, Fun, and Nostalgia

 

We’re kicking off the month with some wonderfully whimsical themes!

  • Sandwich Day (Mon, Nov 3): Enjoy tasty Trendy Sandwiches and test your memory with a Memory Match.

  • Candy Day (Tue, Nov 4): Get a sugar rush with a History of Candy session and a colorful Creative Canvas activity.

  • Monopoly Day (Wed, Nov 5): Relive the classic game with History of Monopoly and try your luck at Last Man Standing.

  • Pillsbury Dough Day (Fri, Nov 7): Wind down the week with Wind Chimes Craft and a game of Ladder Ball!

 

🌍 Special Celebrations & Observances

 

November is a time to honor and celebrate important causes and holidays:

  • Veterans Day (Tue, Nov 11): Join us in making Decorations of Courage and sharing memories during Veterans Day Coloring.

  • World Kindness Day (Thu, Nov 13): Let’s spread cheer with a Harvest Celebration, a Word Find, and a chance to make Strangest Sandwiches.

  • World Peace Day (Mon, Nov 17): We'll share Peace & Kindness Tips and enjoy a comforting All About Green Bean Casserole session.

  • Turkey Thursday (Thu, Nov 20): It's all things turkey with Turkey Toss and a No-Bake Peanut Butter Fudge session—perfect prep for the holiday!

 

🧠 Mind, Body, and Spirit

 

No matter the day, we make sure to keep moving and learning!

  • Daily Chair Exercise: Staying active is a priority! Almost every day starts with our gentle Chair Exercise to keep our bodies limber and energized.

  • Games Galore: Get competitive with classic games like Bingo, Dominoes, UNO, Ladder Ball, and Ring Toss scattered throughout the month.

  • Creative Outlets: From Creative Canvas and Wind Chimes Craft to Steph’s Crafts and Turkey and Pilgrim Coloring, there are plenty of chances to express your artistic side.

We can't wait to share this busy and happy month with all of our members. Remember that Riverview Adult Day Health Center will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
