A Home Run Day with Riverview: Community, Baseball, and Sunshine

On May 7, 2025, the Riverview Adult Day Health Center guests enjoyed a truly special outing, thanks to the generosity and support of our community. With donations from local businesses, proceeds from a heartfelt bake sale, and a strong spirit of togetherness, we made lasting memories at a South Bend Cubs baseball game.

Community Generosity in Action

Our day at the ballpark wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness of our local partners. Donations from businesses in the area, combined with the successful efforts of our bake sale fundraiser, helped provide our guests with an unforgettable experience. It’s inspiring to see how much can be accomplished when a community comes together in support of a shared cause.

Ballpark Luxury for Our Guests

Thanks to these contributions, our guests were treated to special seating in a private suite at Four Winds Field, where they enjoyed a catered lunch and plenty of snacks in comfort and style. The elevated view and cozy indoor seating provided the perfect setting for relaxation and fun.

Beautiful Weather & Bright Smiles

The day was nothing short of perfect. Clear skies, sunshine, and mild temperatures set the stage for an enjoyable afternoon. Although the Cubs came up short on the scoreboard, the spirit in our suite was nothing but cheerful. Laughter, conversations, and shared moments made the game a success in every other way.

Getting There in Style

To make the day even more seamless, our guests were transported with care by United Limo, ensuring safe, comfortable, and accessible travel to and from the game. Their support played a key role in making the day enjoyable from beginning to end.

A Day to Remember

While the scoreboard may not have been in our favor, the joy on our guests' faces told a different story. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this day possible—from those who baked and donated to those who organized and transported. It was more than a baseball game; it was a celebration of community, compassion, and connection.

Thank you to all who made it a home run. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
