September is here, and we have another exciting month planned at Riverview Adult Day Health Center! Our September activity calendar is packed with games, trivia, crafts, music, special celebrations, and plenty of opportunities for our guests to stay active, engaged, and connected.

We have lots of fun themes to look forward to throughout September!

π₯ Rocky Marciano Day – September 1: We'll kick off the month with a heavyweight scramble, Rocky movie at downtime, and Wii boxing.

π΅ Groovin' 70's Day – September 3: Get ready for groovy trivia, a dance-off, and plenty of 1970s fun!

βΎ Randy's Birthday & Jim Abbott Day – September 4: We'll celebrate with baseball trivia, a name game, and Wii baseball.

πΊπΈ Labor Day – September 7: Riverview will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

π Star Trek Day – September 8: Guests can enjoy Star Trek trivia, a word search, and "Trek Around the Building." Don't forget to dress in gold, red, or blue!

βοΈ Cloud Nine Day – September 9: We'll have "Nine" trivia, rhyme activities, and a special craft. Guests are invited to bring a picture of themselves for our craft!

π Lassie Day – September 11: We'll have Lassie facts and trivia, matching activities, and classic games.

π΅π΄ Grandparents Day – September 14: We'll celebrate grandparents with an intergenerational mining activity, a show-and-tell, and a special craft. Bring pictures of your grandkids to show off!

π Wendy's Birthday & M.A.S.H. Day – September 18: Join us for games, M.A.S.H. trivia, a word search, and a special name game for Wendy. Guests are encouraged to wear camouflage!

π΄β οΈ Pirate Day – September 21: Grab your imaginary treasure map and join us for pirate trivia, pirate-themed activities, puzzles, and a pirate glossary.

π Elephant Day – September 22: We'll have elephant jokes, cool elephant facts, an elephant crossword, and memory activities.

β Math Day – September 25: Put your thinking caps on for math riddles, counting games, and a bean bag toss.

π Miss America Day – September 28: We'll learn about Margaret Gorman, make paper roses, enjoy a beauty pageant crossword, and even have a "Do the Catwalk" activity.

π£ Hunting/Fishing Day – September 30: We'll finish the month with fishing spelling, hunting true-or-false, an A-Mazing Deer activity, and a skeet shooting game.
π² Something Fun Every Day
Along with our special theme days, guests can look forward to many of our favorite activities throughout the month, including Shake N Wake, Bingo, table puzzles, word searches, trivia, memory games, Uno, Skip-Bo, Ladder Ball, Bocce Ball, Wii games, crafts, and more!
We also have some special visitors and activities planned, including Erin on saxophone on September 15 and a library visit on September 17.
β€οΈ Celebrating Our Guests
September gives us some wonderful opportunities to celebrate the people who make Riverview such a special place. From birthdays to Grandparents Day, themed activities to group games, our calendar is designed to encourage participation, laughter, creativity, movement, and social connection.
We hope our guests enjoy all the special activities we've planned for them this month. There's always something happening at Riverview!
